This site just went "live" on July 16 - so you should consider yourself a founding member!

12Town is an online community for active builders and pilots of the Vans Aircraft RV-12 light-sport aircraft.  Its purpose is to promote and share the activities of the builders and flyers of this wonderful aircraft. We are not affiliated with Vans Aircraft. Members are encouraged to post pictures, videos and stories that would be of value to other builders and pilots. Only members can post content. Membership will be limited to those that own an RV-12 project.

As an online community we rely on your active participation. We require that members be friendly and courteous with their posts, and be respectful of fellow members. Please report any abuses to us, and contact us with your suggestions and comments.

We allow and encourage participation from 3rd party vendors that supply products and services for the RV-12 builder community.  In the spirit of experimental aviation, their contributions are often critical to making the final aircraft more affordable, reliable, and innovative.  However, we do not endorse any particular 3rd party product or modifications.  The builder assumes full responsibility  for the research and applicability of such products.  Your feedback and experience regarding these items should be shared for the common good of all.
