David said… I am a sport pilot and own a sport hornet that is 2 years old (it was on the cover of the EAA sport mag a few years ago) - taking the Rotax, avionics, and a few other things off of it to use in the RV. The Rotax has 130 hours and is the 2000 tbo. You can go to http://www.rv12pilot.com/david/ to see that plane.
As I said in my post I am building as a EAB so I can use parts, makes it a very cost effective plane since I have the major cost covered.
Status Finish Epenage complete, started the wings and Fuselage comes first week in Nov with 3 weeks vacation plan on getting alot done before the end of the year.
Ordered at Oshkosh and well into it with some help from other RV friends. Scheduled paint for April and the Hornet comes apart in Dec.
