Rudder cable travel

Could someone please tell me the full travel of the rudder cables, block to block at the attach pin on the rudder horn on the rudder pedal bar. I am building an assist lever for the right rudder pedal as I have a above the knee prosthesis and I need to know the travel to design the geometry and attach points for the rod between the lever and the pedal. I did this on our RV-4 by attaching a handle to the right rear rudder pedal and a hand brake lever on the control stick. Finished the 4 in 2007…See More

Not a "Used Rebuilt" engine, just used - gently and slightly - consider it a breakin period already performed for you.  A Jabiru will ALSO have you flying behind a used engine - after the first startup.  I would feel cautious about the 3300 Jab, I am aware of several bad failures before even getting off the ground with them in Sonex aircraft.

The UL is probably a better choice than the 3300, and less money as well, but still far more expensive than the Viking - and so far there have been NO failures of the Honda engine.  Isn't it great that we actually have choices when we build!  Someday a good engineer will re cam an engine like the Viking and do away with the reduction gears.

Radiator failures can happen, but probably can be traced to installation errors or the radiator choice I would bet.  I drive liquid cooled cars and trucks a lot, and have not had any radiator failures in the last 50 years or so, and they seem to pretty well have captured the market in automobiles.  Same thoughts with fuel injection.
