New Addition to the Group

Hi, I am Donald Schwanke, I have been building my 12 since February, you can see what I am doing at my Kit Log site here:  http://www.mykitlog.com/users/index.php?user=DonFromTX&project=...

I have purchased a Viking engine and am awaiting both my airframe preparation for it and its arrival.  I believe the RV12 is the best choice out there based on carrying capacity, easy building, and final product.

Hi Don,

Welcome to the group.  I took a quick look at your Kit Log site - Wow!  You have some nice mods that are very useful and creative.  Please keep us posted with the final location of that parking brake.  Also, feel free to post here (use BLOG) a cut and paste of your description of modifying the floor pan to prevent removal of the gas tank to check rod ends.. Also, it would be great for you to post several of those pics here at the website so people can see what you are doing!  (Not trying to make more work for you, just a suggestion!)
